Wish Bearer is a 3D Platformer Prototype
I developed it by myself as part of a college assignment brief.
I created an original idea and brought it to life through creating 3D models & Animations alongside programming core platforming mechanics and systems.

In Retail Therapy, you play as a traumatized retail worker who is fantasizing about going on a murder spree in their workplace due to having to deal with problematic customers on a daily basis.
This game was developed as part of a team effort.
It was a 2 week long college project. My primary role in this project was to develop diegetic User Interfaces for use in Virtual Reality as well as design of logos / branding & Pitching.

In “Sacrifices & Lighthouses” You will work together as two “spirits/souls” solving puzzles in ancient abandoned ruins, restoring life to them. The primary objective is to reach the lighthouse and complete the narrative plot as you progress by solving puzzles in each of the ruins.A passive secondary objective through gameplay is restoring life to each of the abandoned ruins and collecting messages.I designed this game as part of my final college assignment and decided to challenge myself by implementing split-screen local co-op.

Wish Bearer was a solo student project I worked on as part of my assignment work for the Level 3 Creative Practice (Digital Games) course.I was primarily focused on:
Programming
Level & Gameplay Design
Art Direction & Technical Art
Things I Made:
3D Models
Animations
VFX
Things I didn't Make:
Audio / SFX
Water Shader
Grass Shader
I developed core systems such as an audio manager, binary save system (3Slots), Checkpoints, A Collectable Manager with 3 Types of collectable items, Death & Respawn systems, a from-scratch RigidBody based player controller and more. The aim was to create a functional 3D platformer prototype. The prototype was made in the Unity Engine using C#.I created the 3D models and animations in Maya 2022.I used additional packages and software such as:

MagicaCloth (Cloth Physics)
Stylized Water 2 (Water Shader)
Underwater Rendering (Water Shader)
Bézier Path Creator (Tool)
URP-ScreenSpaceCavity (Shader)

Cats Commit Café Chaos was a group game jam project I worked on as a team of 4 for the NI Student Game Jam 2022I was primarily in charge of:
Programming
Level & Gameplay Design
Art Direction & Technical Art
As well as acting as a Team/Project Lead.We made the game with the Unity Engine, using C#.My team members created the 3D and 2D assets using Maya / Blender while I handled the implementation of them into the project. All of the audio was externally sourced and implemented by me, such as:

Tim's Voice (Voice Acted)
Cat Voices (Voice Acted)
Extra Cat SFX
Timer Countdown
SFX & Music
The only sourced 3D assets in this project are the human characters:
Kira
Waiters

Retail Therapy was a group student project I worked on as a team of 4 for the Northern Regional College.I was primarily in charge of:
Diegetic User Interfaces
Branding & Logo Design
Pitch Development & Design
As well as acting as maintaining project management and the repository. We made the game with the Unity Engine, using C# for use with Virtual Reality Headsets.

Sacrifice & Lighthouses was developed as my final project for college. This project involved:
Programming
Level & Gameplay Design
Art Direction & Technical Art
Things I Made:
Local Split-Screen CO-OP
Two Player Character Controllers
Interactive Puzzle Mechanics (Player Colour Coded)
Dynamic Text Cutscenes
Visual Composition
Low-Poly 3D Models & Animations
The aim was to create co-operative puzzle gameplay that tells abstract emotional story, represented by a minimalistic art-style.This was made in the Unity Engine using C#.3D Models were made in Blender.

My biggest challenge developing this project was handling the two player cameras (Split-Screen) and considerations regarding 3D Audio and a single audio listener.

Theme: Roles Reversed
The role reversal in this game comes from the idea of a guide dog - reversed. Instead of leading your visually impaired, full-body cast-owner to safety (you know.. GUIDE-ing them)... You LEAD THEM STRAIGHT TO THE DANGER.
BORZOINK! was a GMTK 2023 Game Jam Submission I worked on as a group of 3.I handled the entire project engine-side,
I was primarily focused on:
Programming
Level & Gameplay Design
Art Direction & Technical Art
Things I Made:
Gameplay Mechanics
Control Mechanics
UI Implementation & Programming
Dog Leash Physics
Visual Composition
Things my team made:
3D Models
2D Art
VFX
Animations
The aim was to create a silly game that would make people laugh. This was made in the Unity Engine using C#.3D Models were made in Blender.

My biggest challenge developing this project was coming up with a solution for dragging the owner around attached to a lead while also keeping the game feel fun.I tried using different joint methods initially but they were not providing the results I was looking for.In the end I was able to create a solution for the leash by utilizing a range of capsules rigged using the Unity Animation Rigging package and the Damped Transform Components, once I had this setup I was able to create the visuals using a simple script and Line Renderer.

This game was made in 48hours for the Kenney Game Jam 2023 for the theme "EXPLORATION".I approached this theme by having the main game mechanic to be exploring tiles of a dungeon that are randomly generated from a list of 10 premade level layouts while trying to find and rescue your friends (Mimics)!Dungeons & Barrels! was a Kenney Jam 2023 Submission I worked on by myself.
All assets were provided as CC0 from Kenney's website & were modified within a specified rule-set.
I was primarily focused on:
Programming
Level & Gameplay Design
Art Direction & Technical Art
Things I Made:
Tile Spawners
Isometric Controls
Tile Exploration (Fog Of War)
Visual Composition
Animations
The aim was to create a small-scale prototype that would fit the theme. This was made in the Unity Engine using C#.

I had roughly 48hours to put together this small prototype for the theme "Exploration" and we were required to use Kenney's CC0 assets.I needed to come up with a modular way of generating handmade tiles and level layouts yet effectively randomize them.To achieve these I used a prefab system to put together different tile types, and then combined these into further prefabs for the individual level layouts these are put into various arrays and pulled out randomly using a generative seed there are 10 layouts in total!

In addition to this I decided to spend some time putting together custom gizmos for the tiles so I could easily identify them when building my layouts, this was important as the visuals for what a tile actually contains only show up during gameplay.

Without spending this extra time for the gizmos I wouldn't have been able to create 10 level layouts which would have made the gameplay too repetitive or unfair if made completely random.
